Automation Tester - C#, Selenium, Web APIs, BDD - EdinburghEdinburgh based but with opportunity to work from home (up to 100% after initial probationary period)Salary £35-45K DOEMin 2 years ' experience in Automation testingFlexible holiday allowance - 35 days per annum (including optional bank holidays)
JOB PURPOSE
To plan, automate and execute system tests for the web applications, web APIs, desktop, mobile and embedded software developments
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop automation tests to ensure overall product robustness, working collaboratively with Developers and Manual TestersParticipate in daily scrum meetings to ensure software development pipeline and test pipeline are in syncProduce and maintain test documentation.Plan and execute manual tests where required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
Essential Experience and Knowledge: Experience in developing BDD style automation tests using C#, Selenium WebDriver and Specflow for web applications developed in ASP.NET MVCUnderstanding of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines Experience working in an Agile environment
Desirable Experience and Knowledge: Experience in developing automation tests for desktop and mobile applications Experience with embedded software testingKnowledge of performance/security testing
