Senior Data Engineer - SQL - Azure - Snowflake - Birmingham - £65k I am working with an organisation based in Birmingham who are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead the Data & Analytics team as they migrate from their on-premise Data Warehouse to Azure. This is a fantastic time to join this organisation as there is a big focus on Data & Analytics and over the next few months the team is expected to double in size. The organisation are also putting in place a Data Academy, offering the opportunity to learn Data Science.

Key Skills I am looking for:-Demonstrable experience of being involved in a team/ leading a migration from on-premise to Microsoft Azure based platform-Experience of Cloud- Architecture-Experience of Snowflake is desirable-Strong working knowledge of the MS Azure Stack, including: Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks-Excellent SQL Server/ Python skills-Experience in designing and developing data warehouse solutions from scratch -Experience of implementing end-to-end Data Warehouse and ETL pipeline solutions-Excellent customer facing/ stakeholder management skills-Experience leading a team of Developers/ Data Engineers This is a permanent position paying a competitive starting salary of £65,000 plus 20% bonus, car allowance and home-working amongst many benefits they offer.To find out more about this exciting opportunity, call Jose Newby on 01913387557 or email your CV to [email protected].
