This could be the role for you.My client has made a significant investment in bringing in new IT technology to bolster their process efficiency's, and they have recently implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV/ Navision ERP - they're actively seeking an enthusiastic procurement professional to head up the procurement department as they continue to grow - getting involved in managing the end to end procurement, planning, sourcing cycle; supporting the development of their procurement business processes, combined with ensuring they maximize their use of their new Microsoft Dynamics ERP system.This role is office based in the County Donegal area, with flexibility for occasional home-based working dependant on candidate circumstances.Role & ResponsibilitiesHands on management & coordination of the end to end procurement, sourcing and planning cycle of the businessDeveloping existing procurement/ planning processes to ensure business potential is maximisedWorking closely with senior management to build on company roadmap for growth, providing expert advisory within your given fieldWorking closely with technical teams/ users to assist in the functional development of the company's ERP solution - ensuring the system is maximised in the procurement/ planning work steam to it's full potentialSkills & QualificationsA proven track record in procurement, purchasing, sourcing and planning management (ie.
