For their European chip development HQ in Ireland they seek an FPGA expert to play an important role within the SoC digital hardware team, which focusses on mobile processor development for the Internet of Things.
 
The role:
 
In this role you will be the ‘go-to’ FPGA Emulation expert within the SoC group. As the FPGA Emulation Engineer you will be responsible for the entire development and support process of SoC pre-silicon platforms, finding elegant solutions to hard technical problems, collaborating with architects, SoC designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers. This truly is a unique opportunity which carries significant technical weight and fantastic earning potential.
 
You’ll be a real FPGA expert, with the following:
A BSc / MSc / PhD qualification in Electronic Engineering or similarSeveral years’ experience in Digital FPGA / SoC / ASIC Design, with expertise in VHDL or VerilogDetailed knowledge of FPGA Emulation platforms and tools (FPGA Prototyping, Veloce, Palladium) and System DebugA solid understanding of SoC functionality (CPU/DSP, Multimedia, IO, Peripherals, DDR, Modem, Bus Protocols)You can expect:
