We are seeking a Project Manager to assist them on an exciting project managing teams/suppliers delivering in challenging environments to support a large scale portfolio of Logistics & Supply Chain based projects. Who will you be working for? Reed Professional Services provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Logistics, Media, Banking and Central Government. We keep the end goal firmly in mind and can scale as in line with customer needs. What will you be doing? As a core member of RPS's Project Manager Team, you will be working on key transformation projects including new application roll out across 40k fleet of vehicles and legacy system migration. You will provide end to end accountability for the project delivery process, ensuring that selected suppliers and project teams deliver within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality. The key projects will Using your Expert Knowledge Project Manager, you will work with the commercial team and other members of group technology to define the scope of the project, create a detailed project plan which identifies and sequences the activities using Agile methods. Execute and deliver the project in line with the groups policies including, project control, risk management, change management and ensure the project delivers within budget. Experience: Demonstrable success in similar roles, with comparable end goals and responsibilities on Supply Chain and Logistics of this scale and complexity. Skills: You will have supplier management and exceptional stakeholder engagement/management skills. Ideally knowledge and experience of technical domain /IT development lifecycles (Agile, Iterative and Waterfall) particularly in Logistics and Supply Chain landscape.
