A Pharmaceutical company are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join a new projects team delivering a portfolio of varied projects, including OSISoft Pi Data historian implementation, Shop floor and Lab Win 10 upgrades and a number of technical remediation initiatives in the manufacturing automation space of the Animal Health Division on a contract until the end of 2020 offering a rate of up to £380 per day. As a Senior Automation Engineer you will:Be responsible for technical aspects of automation projects from inception through to final commissioning.Manage documentation, testing, validation and support.Write initial specifications.Complete PLC software design.Be involved with in-house testing / validation. Support team members. We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with the following:
Previous experience working for a Pharmaceutical company.PLC and HMI Programming experience.Automation / control system integration experience and related support systems such as Data Historian, EBR’s, PI.Good network knowledge and experience.Automation / control system incident investigation experience. Experience in automation / controls engineering.Management experience. The following would be very beneficial:
