Overview: Actively seeking an enthusiastic Purchasing Specialist/ Buyer, with expertise using Microsoft Dynamics NAV software, for an exciting new role with a reputable, nationwide enterprise in the East Yorkshire/ Humberside area. With a host of exciting projects planned for 2020 and beyond, the company are looking to expand their group purchasing function with a passionate, driven professional who will come in and assist in the management of their buying, inventory and stock processes, as well as maximising efficiency's/ business processes linking to their internal ERP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV/ Navision. The role will involve: Management of group purchasing, inventory & stock through Microsoft Dynamics NAVEnsuring system is maintained/ administrated effectively to reflect accurate business dataBusiness Process Improvement - Investigating purchasing/ inventory/ stock discrepancies and issues and pushing through effective change/ training to benefit the businessSupplier relationship development and management - management of small internal team This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same and it will present interesting challenges to an enthusiastic professional seeking to progress their career in purchasing; within a leading UK business environment.
