Manufacturing Graduate Engineer

Chester, Cheshire

£18,000.00 - £25,000.00 Per Year

We are a leader in the Design & Manufacture of electrical engineering solutions from concept through to completion. We operate throughout the UK and overseas.

The Role:

Providing Management Leadership, Ownership and Development of existing and new manufacturing/production processes. Developing & introducing new technology systems through digital manufacturing solutions and providing logistical solutions to support to both production and engineering design functions will be a key feature.

We are looking for talented individuals to influence the development within a state of the art electrical manufacturing facility.

Key Requirements:

Ownership of manufacturing processes

Resource scheduling/planning to support production commitments

Change management control

Departmental control and efficiencies; time attendance, cost control, waste minimisation

Ensuring Quality Management System compliance; ISO9001, ISO1400, ISO45001

Recording & Measuring manufacturing performance against KPI's

Lean manufacturing processes development such as 6Sigma, 5S, Kanban

Identify options for continual improvement in the manufacturing processes

Develop strategic processes to deliver maximum return from automated machinery and systems

Review potential technology development options for implementation into a manufacturing/production environment

Using problem solving techniques, analyse, identify and provide solution options to Engineering/Manufacturing Directors for Manufacturing & Engineering design

Qualifications:

A relevant Engineering degree (or equivalent) in a manufacturing or industry related environment such as; Manufacturing Engineering; Production Engineering is essential.
