Fibre Network Planning Manager - LondonLondon, West End - £50,000 to £55,000 + £5,000 Bonus + Excellent BenefitsTeam Manager - FTTP / FTTH / FTTC - ISP, Fibre Optic, Broadband Media, Networks & Telecoms, Broadband Networks & Telecoms, GPON, Wi-Fi, Network Protocols, Network Planning, Network Design, Fibre Mapping, Splicing Diagrams, Fibre Junction Schematics, BoM's including Network Build Packs and Validation Packs to Network Handover Packs.Excellent new and progressive role just available for a highly motivated and professional Fibre Network Planning Manager.You will Support a Team of Network Fibre and Network Infrastructure Planning professionals.You will Deliver High Quality results pitted against tight deadlinesYou will work in a fast-growing Telecoms Design & Build Environment.You will LeadYou will CoachYou will ManageYou will Problem SolveYour remit will involve:You will be responsible for the day to day productivity of the Planning team, managing work volumes and priorities in line with business requirements.Prioritising and scheduling all work activities for the teamEnsuring that KPI's such as fibre pack output/build completion rates, quality, utilisation of the passive network and technical standards are being controlled and achieved.Monitoring, reporting and escalating fibre planning and fibre capacity issues within the network deployment.Working with the GIS Team Leader, Head of Planning and other managers to integrate the fibre planning/network inventory platform with other company platforms.Providing accurate weekly reporting on throughout of fibre work packs for core, street unit and building connections.Working cross-functionally with the civils team to deliver ready for service street cabsDelegating work and projects across the Planning team, and re-assigning resources and priorities according to the business needs.Identifying performance and training gaps and managing personal development of each member of the team.Supporting and mentoring team membersBefore Applying! - Be aware of these key experiences you will need to have:Strong Leadership skills and ability to set a good example to othersExperience in passive infrastructure network planning, particularly in FTTx, MAN, pulled and blown fibre designs.Excellent and proven experience of FTTP/FTTC build activitiesExcellent and proven experience of GPON (ITU-T G984)GIS/CAD experience and SLD CreationExperience of managing projects and tasks, guiding and driving all stake holders as necessaryKnowledge of Fibre Types / Modes, Connector Types, Fibre Splicing, Termination Principles and PracticesHave Access Network Fibre Planning experience within the Telecoms arenaA proven track record of planning successful projectsThe ability to draw together different technical disciplinesAble to communicate with people across multiple locations and at different levelsTake this opportunity to rise above your peers and secure a role to elevate your Management career.
