Procurement Consultant - Supplier ManagementWe are working with one of our most prestigious clients to help them find an experienced Procurement Consultant.  In these uncertain times, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a Globally renowned company who are going through a massive transformation.  This is the perfect time to join this fantastic team of individuals to create real change in a Global organisation.Purpose of the roleResponsible for the management and development of strategic and preferred UK suppliers and the establishment and maintenance of best practice Supply Chain Risk Management and Quality Assurance standards (including tools, techniques, reporting, policies & processes). In doing so, the role holder will focus on providing assurance that Supply Chain partners are delivering in line with the contractual obligations and the standards required by the client, its customers and regulators.Key Accountabilities

Build effective relationships with all stakeholders on local (and global level via Group Procurement) through proactive engagement, collaborative working practices and a lean and flexible approach to work.Develop and embed a clear supplier management framework - identifying key suppliers through a segmentation framework.Deliver highly credible, technically excellent and practical advice on the mitigation of Risk, interpretation of Regulations, regulatory priorities and adoption of Policies which demonstrates a deep understanding of business issues in the context of Supply Chain Risk Management.Manage supplier performance through the adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to drive performance and value-add.Identify risks of new and existing suppliers, tier and manage those risks involved; manage risk through robust due diligence practices in alignment with existing guidance and processes.Utilise wider group functions to support in other due diligence and legal requirements e.g. financial monitoring and sanctions checking.Work with other business areas in order to demonstrate supplier compliance to all relevant policies including the clients Outsourcing Policy and Procurement Standard and UK regulations.Conduct Monitoring Reviews from the Assurance Plan (including, where necessary field activity) for all Supplier Partners testing evidence to ensure that our partners are compliant with all Regulatory and Service obligations.Work with the stakeholders to ensure that all risks and issues within the Supply Chain are assessed and dealt appropriately via a robust action plan.
