JOB DETAILS

The only thing you love more than Linux is using your Linux skills to solve Linux problems.

Sound about right?

You deserve to work with a team who not only accept your curiosity and focus on the finer details, but actively embrace these aspects of your personality. Join a market maker and become the go-to solutions factory on all things Linux.

You'll be joining a culture that's designed to help you truly thrive - it's relaxed but there's enough pressure to motivate you to constantly push for more; for better. There's a huge focus on wellbeing and work: life balance, with a company gym and yoga classes through to sports massages and acupuncture sessions. Fancy collaborating with the team on a new project? Help yourself to anything from the kitchen and hit the table tennis or pool table for a brainstorming session.

Your days will involve working on every stage of the project lifecycle, from designing and testing through to implementing and maintaining, fixing any faults (in both hardware and software) along the way. You'll become the escalation point for any Linux aspects of the business, advising best practice on administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting and more. You'll be finetuning all processes to ensure the highest level of reliability possible within this latency-sensitive environment.

You'll have the chance to share your knowledge and learn new skills, from enhancing your networking experience to getting up to speed on low-latency trading. You'll be given the latest software to play with, and will use it to support any Linux-led trading and business tools. If you want exposure to automation tools (like Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible), greenfield work and Red Hat and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (REHL), this is the place for you.

You'll be working with complex technology, operating and improving internal functions and overseeing a low-latency platform that's been built in-house. There's a shift towards automation within the business, and you'll be implementing this within your workstation and future-proofing core Linux elements the business.

If you use the word 'Linux' in a sentence more than we have in this ad, you need to apply.
