North Norfolk District Council is seeking a Project Manager to support the programme delivery of a High Street Heritage Action Zone within north Norfolk's largest town - North Walsham. This new post, part-funded by Historic England, provides an opportunity to be involved in delivering a truly unique project from inception to completion. You will be working closely with a range of stakeholders, including the local community, businesses and property owners. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of an ambitious suite of projects that will help shape and regenerate the town, showcasing its rich history and provide a platform for a range of cultural and heritage activities. With an understanding of built heritage conservation, you will equally be able to demonstrate excellent project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills. The scheme will deliver physical improvements and cultural activities to help revitalise the high street and help to reinstate its distinctive historic character. Not only will it be a vital part in the high streets recovery, the regeneration of the town centre will also become the catalyst for the renaissance of this fascinating medieval town. Working as part of the Economic Growth team, you will inspire the local community and businesses and have the ability to capitalise on the funding, nurturing ideas that will create opportunities for further improvement and investment.
