Inside IR35 Django, Python, MySql, Django ORM, Windows, Linux My client, a leader in the public sector, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work remotely to begin with but then from their Lambeth headquarters. As a Django developer you will - Key Responsibilities -Maintenance, issue resolution and development of a Django web application and associated databases and serversLiaison with users, partners and suppliers to resolve application, database and network issues, including configuration and performance problemsMaintaining security and reliability of the servers and data, including access management, backups, certificate management and system monitoringMaintenance of code repository and automation of deployment process to multiple virtual serversMaintaining application and systems documentation as required Essential Criteria -Django Backend development experience (Python, MySQL, Django ORM)Familiarity with configuration control under a Quality Management SystemQualified to degree level in engineering, computer science or a related subject OR having significant directly relevant experience.Experience of network administration in a multi-platform environment (Windows, Linux).Experience of user support with excellent interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication, including production of technical and user documentationA good understanding of relevant internet and local network standards, protocols and hardware, including security, virtualisation, and remote desktop technology. Quick to learn new technologies.A logical approach enabling you to work through complex problems in a high-pressure environment.Ability to multitask and prioritise effectivelyAble to work independently and research solutions to problemsAccurate record keeping and attention to detail Desirable Criteria - Full stack development experience (including Django templates, JQuery, Bootstrap CSS)Development experience in other environments and languages e.g. .NET, desktop, mobile appsExperienced in full Software Development Lifecycle including requirements and automated testingExperience of administering any of the following technologies: Other databases including MS SQL Server or non-relational databasesVirtualisation technologies including Hyper VLab Information Management Systems (LIMS)Linux serversEmail servers and associated technologiesXML documents and workflows Inside IR35 Django, Python, MySql, Django ORM, Windows, Linux
