A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the small team in their Radstock office.

The Lead Service Engineer will be responsible supervising all workshop and on-site service/repair activities including site surveys. The role involves identifying repairs required and recommending remedial action to achieve first class repairs and completing the service reports together with costing estimates. The job holder will also be responsible for managing activities of other service personnel. The Lead Service Engineer will work closely with the Base Manager and will assist him with any relevant and reasonable duties requested. The Lead Service Engineer will also be expected be on call 24/7 and to work evenings, weekends and Bank holidays as required.

The company provide its customers with a complete service whether it's a 'pump-in-a-box', complex custom-built system or servicing their pumps on site or back to one of its four service bases in the UK. They are a distributor of Pumps and Pumping Systems for the, oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, power, nuclear, industrial, process, food, beverage, commercial and associated markets.

You must have good organisational and communication skills and able to plan to complete tasks accurately, meeting the deadlines and with attention to detail. You will possess a clean driving licence and an electrical engineering knowledge is an advantage.
