Duties
Monitoring and maintaining the critical live environment of up to 60 servers running in Microsoft Azure, quickly responding to faults and outages
Assisting with planning, design, and implementation of the distributed server environment.
Querying SQL databases and collecting metrics to help us understand Highlight usage, including developing scripts and tools to automate this process.
Provide 3rd line technical support and Internal IT maintenance and support.
Helping to create and maintain good technical documentation.
Responding to support requests in a timely manner and answering support calls on the Cloud service.
Required experience:
Windows Server (2012 R2/2016), IIS, .Net framework, Certificate management etc.
Active Directory, including Group Policy, Active Directory Domain Services.
VMware ESXi & vSphere
MS Azure
PowerShell
Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2017) - managing and querying
Microsoft Office 365
Working on a Helpdesk
Advantageous skills
Troubleshooting .NET applications and websites
Chef or similar Configuration Management software
Veeam Backup & Replication
OpenVPN
Cisco / Juniper - management & configuration
LAN/WAN technologies
Network management tools
NetFlow
SNMP
MPLS
Microsoft PowerBI
