DevOps Engineer (Linux, Ansible)An award winning software house is on the market for an experienced DevOps Engineer. They have a motto where 'technology is at the heart of everything they do', therefore they are looking for tech savvy, driven DevOps engineers who know how to deal with and enjoy the constant challenges that come in a DevOps culture. This role works closely with both Software Development and IT Operations to ensure all builds and releases are up to the highest standards.As a competent member of the DevOps team, you will be responsible for automation, build and software configuration management. You will also be responsible for building out the continuous integration platform across several software products. You are expected to assist with the innovation of the build and release environment.As such, this role requires at previous commercial experience in a similar DevOps engineer position with a similar skill set. That means being competent with Linux (RHEL/Centos and Debian), bash scripting, Ansible, virtualization (VirtualBox, HyperV), CI/CD (Bamboo, Jenkins, Travis, GitLab, Azure DevOps, TeamCity), Git and Docker/KubernetesThis role will suit a trouble-shooter and self-starter who finds solutions not problems and looks to improve processes and tooling though research.Genuinely, there is no limit to career progression and learning and there are no boundaries to how far this company will go.
