International Banking Group - Contract

£400 - £425 / day PAYE (Inside IR35)

Home Working (Client London Based)

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Windows System Administrator to join them on a contract initially running until the end of the year.

You will be responsible for providing Windows support across EMEA and so will require excellent knowledge across windows estates, including Windows Server, Active Directory and Windows OS.

This contract will run initially until the end of the year; however, it is very common to receive renewals with this bank, and we would expect you to be on site for longer than this initial period. This role will be working from home from day one, however in normal circumstances would be based in Central London close to Aldgate East Tube Station.

Skills & Experience Required

-Excellent Wintel Experience including

oWindows Server, Active Directory (AD), Windows Systems, Windows OS, Performance Monitoring, Tuning Utilities and Commands, Security Hardening (CIS Industry Benchmarks), Networking, Storage, Database, Virtualization, Clustering, High-Availability, Replication, Disaster Recovery, Security and Auditing, Data Security Governance (GDPR, SOX).

-Working knowledge of (desirable)

oPython Scripting, PowerShell Scripting, TCP/IP Networking Protocols, Ivanti LANDESK, Symantec Altiris, Infoblox DNS, ESX VMWare, Nutanix HCI, EMC Storage, HDS Storage, EMC Networking, Data Domain, Tivoli Storage Manager, Icinga 2, OpManager, IBM Tivoli, IBM Netcool, LDAP, Kerberos, GitHub, Subversion, TeamCity, BMC Control-M, CyberArk, Splunk, QRadar, Qualys, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Serena Business Manager, Cloud Computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS across Azure, AWS GCP and Oracle)
