Operations directorHinckley£70'000 + Pension + holidayDo you have a contracts management background and hold a QS qualification?Are you looking for an autonomous position where you will play a key role in this company achieving its ambitious goals and objectives?Having been established for over 30 years this company specialise in the project management of high value water/waste water projects around the globe. 2020 is set to be an exciting year for the company as they look to grow and increase turnover past the 7 million mark.In this role you will act as functional head of the Contracts Department with overall responsibility for commercial and technical performance, ensuring quality standards and application of established procedures. You will also have day to day management of the engineering team and Review the contract, tender and specification documentation, to ensure a thorough understanding of the contract requirements.The ideal candidate will have a strong contracts management, QS qualification and a background in design and build NEC M&E contractsThis is a great role for a operations director to join a leading company that will offer you full autonomy and where you will work closely with the MD.

The role:* Act as functional head of the Contracts Department with overall responsibility for commercial and technical performance, ensuring quality standards and application of established procedures.

* Day to day management of the Project Managers, Project Engineers, Electrical Engineers, CAD Technicians, Technical Clerk, Service & Spares Co-Ordinator, Site Managers and Commissioning Engineers.

* Review the contract, tender and specification documentation, to ensure a thorough understanding of the contract requirementsThe person:* Candidates must have a QS qualification

* Must have experience at a contract manager role with at least 5 years senior management experience.

*Background in design and build NEC M&E contracts
