We are looking for creative, innovative Application Support Engineers to work on a secure site in Portsmouth.
The Role
The role will primarily involve incident management on our clients' live system, on incidents that have been escalated from 2nd line resources that are often remotely based environments.
Additional scope of responsibilities will include delivering infrastructure development and testing of upgrades, patches and new software solutions. You will guide and mentor other staff, and be a recognized Subject Matter Expert in several fields.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for dependable and experienced support staff that are not afraid to own problems and incidents and deliver solutions to issues. A broad skill set and experience base is desirable; but equally, if you regard yourself as a subject matter expert in a technology area that we are supporting or will be delivering as a future upgrade then you could find yourself at the lead in some exciting project work.
You will need to be comfortable working at a 2/ 3line level, having a strong background with Windows Server. However we are ideally looking for someone who has progressed into a Application Support role.
Essential Skills
You will need experience working with:
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 r2 or laterSharePoint 2013 (or higher)Exchange 2013 (or higher)Desirable Skills
Working with the below would also be highly desirable.
Lync/SkypeMIMMicrosoft WSUS and SCCM design, management, troubleshootingSQL 2012PowerShell scripting experience would be highly desirable. The Company
