Senior Business Analyst - Central Government Department Who will you be working for? RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and Central Government. We keep the end goal firmly in mind and can scale as in line with customer needs. What will you be doing? As a core member of RPS's Project Management Team, you will help our client across a broad cross section of programmes that need support both to raise understanding of the level of Project and Programme Management expertise, owing to the unprecedented level of change required. Using your exceptional Business Analysis skills, you will delivering advice and making decisions which will have a measurable impact on the effectiveness of the programme. Apply business analysis methods of investigating, analysing, reviewing and documenting business functions and processes. This will involve capturing and understand the business needs, conducting feasibility studies with the preparation of business cases, whilst considering the implications of change on the organisation and its stakeholders.You will be participating across the whole project delivery lifecycle: managing, capturing, and validating business objectives. Additionally, you will define the requirements for improving digital services, to reduce costs and quantify potential business benefits. To be considered, please have the following in regard to: Experience: Demonstrable success in similar roles, with comparable end goals and responsibilities on projects of this scale and complexity, with prior experience in working with Central Government Functions. Skills: A proven awareness of Project Delivery(Agile Environment), Proven ability to quickly assimilate and distil information, identifying and highlighting critical and pertinent issues and an understanding of the digital economy and how this is changing for the user. Characteristics: There's frequent internal and external stakeholder management involved, so you should be a compelling and considered influencer, with a consultative and approachable demeanour that will enable your team to deliver to the best of its ability.
