Job Title: JavaScript Developer

Location: Kettering, NN14

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job type: Full time, Temporary (3 Months)

The business is a young and innovative company that believes every home should be a smart home.  It is creating solutions to be built into the fabric of every new home, giving the connectivity and control to adapt the environment for work, family or social lives.

The Role: 

They are looking for you to join the team based in Great Addington, Northamptonshire initially on 3 months contract but with the potential for a longer term role for the right person.

You will be a talented and driven back end developer, with a software engineering background, who will be joining to help them build their smart home software. Working within a small team you will be helping to design and implement new features and integrations to offer customers.

The Candidate:

The core of the software is written in JavaScript, so your experience in this is essential, although they'll be looking for you to use your experience and skills across the technology stack to assure the best production solution.

It would also be desirable to have experience in one or more of the following: HTML 5, CSS3, Networking including IP routing, routing tables, and firewall configuration, through Linux or Open WRT command line.  KNX home automation technology and ETS tools.

You will be a strong team player, working co-operatively and productively with others; openly exchanging information and supporting colleagues and achieving business goals. You will have a passion for technology and a desire to work in the smart home industry.
