Python Developer / Software Engineer (Python C++ Linux) *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to work on large, complex and challenging systems; collaborating with a team of technologists to solve problems whilst continually learning and progressing your career?

As a Python Developer at one of the world's most successful proprietary trading firms you will design, code, test and deploy high performance, distributed Python / C++ systems that enable trading on more than eighty financial exchanges across the globe and processes multi-petabyte data sets on one of the most powerful computing grids in the world. You'll be introducing critical features to the real-time trading platform and working with global teams to efficiently deliver high quality software releases.

Based in the beautiful city of Bristol you will join an accomplished team collaborating to solve complex problems.

Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

Degree educated, likely to have studied further (MSc / PhD), computer Science preferred

Strong Python and / or C++ coding ability

Good knowledge of Linux OS

Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including Object Orientated Programming, Data Structures, threading models and networking

Logical mindset with a love of problem solving and the aptitude to learn quickly
