Agile Software Development Lead Leeds to £75k

Agile Software Development Lead (C/C++). Would you like to take a lead role at a technology driven company with an open, collaborative environment where learning and personal development are key?

As an Agile Software Development Lead your core focus will be on ensuring that software development best practice is followed; you'll manage around 15 C++ software engineers and enable them to reach their full potential through coaching, mentoring and emphatic leadership. You'll facilitate training, practice days and construct detailed personal development plans for each one of your team, guiding them to be the best possible developers they can be.

You'll join an upbeat, motivated team based in state-of-the-art, custom built offices in Cambridge with a range of facilities including agile break-out areas, underground car park and excellent transport links; you won't be expected to be in the office everyday though with flexible working and work from home opportunities.

Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process (and 100% work from home during the current social distancing measures, with up to 2 days a week going forward).

Requirements:

Advanced leadership skills with experience of managing software engineering teams and coaching them to success

Ideally you will have a technical background with C/C++ or other OO programming language

Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices and Agile methodologies

Collaborative with excellent communication skills, personable an approachable
