Our client is looking for a 3rd Line Network Support Engineer to be part of the Infrastructure and Network team to implement, operate and maintain a wide range of network and security systems. You will be delivering multiple projects with varying technologies in an exciting competitive environment, with exposure to a wide range of emerging technologies. The role will involve Network Designer so you will need to evaluate and design as well as implement core transformational changes to our network infrastructure. The role will administer technical operation of the LAN/WAN including configuration & deployment, monitoring, maintenance & troubleshooting, auditing and log management and upgrade and support of all network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN and VOIP.The right candidate will have:Strong technical grounding in a wide range of technologies and IT servicesExcellent troubleshooting skills - Able to analyse problems and conduct effective fault diagnosis and system recoveryGood understanding of the commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the network and security operationsA varied IT related background is desirable, multi data centre enterprise environments with branch office deployments, virtualisation, Cloud, SaaS/IaaS/PaaS, including but not limited to AWS, Azure.Devise new approaches to make improvements and/or solve problemsThis is a great role within a forward thinking business.
