Linux System Administrator, Permanent, Berkshire based company with global customers As a Linux System Administrator you will work for a semiconductor company in Berkshire. The role is to work for a dynamic SME with over a 100 staff across several offices. The company established in 2001 works globally undertaken Silicon Chip design and Supplying to a wide range of customers. The role will be ‘hands-on’ using your expertise to cover a wide range of technical challenges and help deliver on Projects and support BAU. You will be involved with helping to define and deliver the future of the IT Roadmap. Key Skills:Linux Administration and Linux SystemsRHEL/CentOSStorage (SAN, LVM, NFS, Samba, AutoFS)Network (FortiNet, Sonicwall, HPE Procurve/Aruba/3com, IPsec, Basic L2/L3, management/monitoring)Authentication/Authorization (Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos, SSH, SASL, 2FA)Virtualization (KVM, oVirt)Provisioning of new workstation equipment and server/compute farm infrastructure.Monitoring of key system parameters and pro-active response to maintain high availabilityKey Tasks:
