Network Architect / Cisco ACI / Juniper Junos / SDWAN - Stafford - Salary up to £52000

Reed are currently working with one of the largest organisations in Staffordshire who are looking for a new Network Architect to join a new team.Are you seeking your next challenge, and wanting to be part of a newly formed in-house IT team? As a Network Architect you'll be part of a major infrastructure migration across to the latest Cisco ISE platform using SDWAN.Duties:

* Define and articulate the impact of new force initiatives in relation to changes to existing network architecture;

* Responsible for the detailed network design across the force, ensuring it is fit for purpose for any new solutions delivered by Technology Services;

* Fully contribute to any impact assessment process to provide SME input on proposed initiatives;

* Define and maintain documentation that articulates current state network infrastructure and topology across the force;

* Review new or changed legislation and its impact on adopted force technology standards;

* Use architecture to guide and align networking solutions to improve overall resilience, considering disaster recovery and business continuity measures between key sites or locations;

* Ensure maximum performance from the force network infrastructure, using technologies such as Cisco ISE and SDWAN to ensure that performance is monitored and governed effectively;Experience/skills you need:

Post graduate degree or equivalent experience

* Cisco CCNP certified

* Significant experience working in a detailed network design role

* Cisco CCDE (certified design expert)

* Previous experience of working in a security environment

* Datacentre design knowledgeDesirable

* Familiar with Cisco ACI

* Juniper Junos experience

* SDWAN design knowledge

* Firewall configuration knowledge
