Support Engineer / Junior DevOps Bristol to £35k

Support Engineer / Junior DevOps (Linux Java CI/CD) *Remote Interview WFH*. Are you a motivated technologist seeking a role where you can develop your skills and move towards a DevOps position?

You could be joining a technology ISP and working on complex and challenging systems. As a Support Engineer you'll join the development team in a support capacity, investigating and fixing 2nd / 3rd support queries. You'll work closely with developers to dive into the code, gaining valuable Java / Groovy scripting and coding skills and will help to drive the transition to a DevOps automation environment with CI/CD.

This Support Engineer role is an excellent opportunity to enhance and develop your skills in a supportive technology driven environment. You'll be based in modern offices in the beautiful City of Bristol with lots going on in the local area and excellent transport links.

Requirements:

Experience as a 2nd / 3rd line Support Engineer

Good knowledge of Linux OS and basic networking

Familiar with Agile development methodologies / working practices e.g. Pair Programming, TDD / BDD

Collaborative with good communication skills, keen to learn and progress

Familiarity with Python, Java, Golang or Groovy nice to have
