This leading developer of wireless communications technologies urgently seeks a Software Development and Integration Manager to be based at their R+D Centre in Berlin. The Software Development and Integration Manager work closely with the senior management team of this global chip and module developer and will be responsible for a team of high calibre Software Engineers who are tasked with developing and testing short range wireless communications systems. The Software Development and Integration Manager will be tasked with defining processes and tools, contributing to software project specifications, supporting Project Managers throughout the complete development lifecycle and for resource allocation across the software team. The successful candidate will bring with them a demonstrable track record of developing wireless communications software including a wide knowledge of software development processes, quality and tools, and a good understanding of embedded software projects. You will also need a successful background managing teams of Software Engineers. A good technical education coupled with any exposure to project delivery, hiring Software Engineers or resource selection and allocation would be beneficial.
