Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Power Supply Engineer you will take a pro-active lead in the delivery, designing and development of equipment and systems from concept through to completion. This will include the following:

Providing technical and practical knowledge of switched mode power supplies.Producing concept designs, layouts, assembly drawings and detailed manufacturing drawings employing AutoCAD and Cadence Design Suite software.Lab testing and measurement techniques of power supplies.Circuit simulation techniquesCreating power supply technical specifications.

Key Skills

The successful candidate should have a background in designing complex mechanisms ranging from small highly tolerance devices to large fabricated structures. As well as the following:

Understanding of switched mode power supplies or motor inverters.Design of high reliability/high availability power supplies.Knowledge of high precision/low noise power supplies.Competence in AutoCAD and/or Cadence Design SuiteUnderstanding of FPGA, VHDL, Xilinx.Knowledge of digital control loop systemsFault finding
