Senior SQL Database Administrator100% Remote work (within EU only) Our Client, a production company with the global presence, are looking for an independent SQL administrator who will join their international Data Platform team.The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications. This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical skills, as well as interpersonal and communication skills. Key tasks and responsibilities:Manage MS SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectationsIndependently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changesAssist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members Specialist skills/competencies:several years of experience on similar position - SQL Database AdministrationProfessional knowledge in data processing architecture.Experience with relational databasesMS Azure Cloud Platform & Services knowledgeBI/Data Warehouse knowledgeAttitude of continuous improvement and desire to learn new technologiesability to SAY NO and ask WHYAnalytical skillsFluent English What can be offered:B2B employment (full time, long term)Ability to work from homeA lot of independence and flexibilityTeam supportStable and secure cooperation If it sounds interesting please send your application to Anna [email protected]
