An IT Trainer is required for our client based in Leicester. The post will be on a one year fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to train employees to use IT more effectively and so enhance the ability to work remotely.

The postholders will deliver a comprehensive I&T training and development provision to a diverse range of customers, including internal stakeholders, ensuring that the service provided is focused on delivering innovative business solutions.

The main duties include:Identifying training and development needs for individuals and creating and completing training needs analyses where requiredDesigning, delivering and evaluating IT based learning and development activitiesCreating and developing knowledge base materials and digital learning resourcesDeveloping and delivering IT induction programmes and refresher trainingPreparing and providing management information on training provision Essential requirements:Experience of identifying training needsExperience of design, delivery and evaluation of training and development activities.Experience of training within an IT focused environment.Relevant experience of supporting culture, skills and behaviour change within a diverse organisationExperience of collating management information / provision of reportsTraining needs analysisWorking in a complex organisation, using a variety of training techniques and strategies.Excellent Communication, presentation and listening skills.Excellent ICT Skills - the ability to manipulate data into bespoke reports.The ability to maintain accurate recordsProficient in a range of software packages, particularly MS Office softwareCoaching and mentoring staff.Presentation skills
