Architecture Experience:· 12-15 years of experience in IT including at least 5 years in Technical and Solution Architecture roles· At least 4-5 years working for an Airline or GDS with experience in designing and implementing 2 or more systems in the domain of Reservations, Cargo, Pricing, Operations, etc.· Experience in defining, realizing and implementing end-to-end Solution Architecture for large & complex reservation platforms with multi/Omni channel delivery· Experience in Architecture consulting engagements is a must (For E.g. architecture assessment, technology fitment, and fit-gap assessment)· Follow trends in technology and have a point of view on industry trends, application of technologies to realize meaningful business solutions· Experience with presenting to senior executives and industry conferences and authoring white papers and peer-reviewed articles· Extensively worked in architecting and designing multitenant platforms in greenfield development and/or packaged solutions· Should have experience in working with at least one cloud enabled services like AWS, MS Azure etc.· 5+ years of architecture design and definition experience using Java/JEE, Struts, Spring, JMS & ORM (Hibernate, JPA), along with databases like Oracle, Couchbase· Understanding of streaming platforms concepts and technologies like Kafka, and ability to map such tools to context· Strong understanding of architecture patterns such as multi-tenancy, scalability, and federation, microservices to build cloud-ready systems· Experience in architecture or data-science based consulting engagements would be a bonus· Experience with developing and mentoring staff at all levels Technology and Engineering Experience:· Previous experience designing & building n-tier web applications· Java/J2EE, Web Services (REST, JSON, HTTP)· Spring (AOP, IOC, Security, ORM, JTA, JDBC)· Kafka, Storm, Samza or Flink· Object Oriented Programming Concepts· Familiar with Javascript frameworks (examples: JQuery, Node.js, Bootstrap, AngularJS)Soft skills· Excellent leadership and communication skills· High integrity· Ability to articulate strategy & direction effectively in a team environment
