Junior Security Support Engineer London to £35k

Junior Security Support Engineer / Analyst (Mac JAMF Sophos EMM Meraki) *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to learn and progress your career at a Cyber Security technology start-up whilst enjoying perks such as flexible working?

As a Junior Security Support Engineer you'll be responsible for managing the company's technology assets and ensuring the security of devices used by the growing number of internal users, currently around thirty. There's a focus on Mac machines with some Windows and Linux. You'll be responsible for keeping track of the company's technology assets (MacBook, phones etc.) and for managing authorisation and access levels, integrating with G-Suite via SSO, onboarding new staff and ensuring all is signed off when someone leaves. The company has recently completed its SOC Type 1, you will be able to assist with achieving SOC Type 2 / ISO 27001.

There's a lot of scope for career progression, you'll receive regular training and will be able to progress and play to your strengths and interests within a supportive environment; moving onto things like security controls in AWS, intrusion detection, penetration testing and network security.

The core product is a distributed, real-time engine integrated with clients to enable things such as Live Chat, real-time scoring, real-time location tracking, live documentation sharing, MMO games and eLearning to name but a few; the company has established a good reputation and is growing as a result of success.

Driven by technology the company is able to conduct a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

Some experience in a similar technical Security / Technical Support position

Good working knowledge of device management tools such as JAMF, Sophos, Meraki

Ability to script with one of the following: PowerShell, bash, Python

Familiar / keen to learn: Linux, Cloud based technologies (AWS)

Collaborative with good communication skills; keen to learn take ownership and progress
