An exciting Data and Software Engineering consultancy (40+ employees) based in Victoria are looking for a Java Consultant to join their expanding team as their client base increases. Consultants within the development teams are currently working on both legacy and greenfield projects for some of the biggest names in Asset Management, Energy Trading and Finance, with over 100 clients globally.The are looking for a Java Consultant (Asset Management/Energy Trading) with the following:Mid-level commercial Java experienceFamiliar working with Agile methodologiesAWS and DevOps tools experience is desired (though not necessary)You're autonomous and have a pragmatic attitude to getting tasks completedYou will be working on backend Java predominantly, as well as C#, Angular and React (dependent on the project), with a modern tech stack of Microservices and Docker containers, deployed on AWS.
