Our client is on the cutting edge of life sciences leveraging resources, algorithms and platforms to link genetic variation to disease outcomes, generating the most powerful engine of its kind.They use breakthrough machine learning algorithms, powered by this engine, to understand an individual's risk for common diseases, and we deploy these tools in healthcare to change the paradigm to a "prevention first" model.Due to rapid expansion and the success of a precision medicine team they seek a Project Manager to help coordinate scientific and product-related activities. The Project Manager will play a key role in the development and deployment of cutting edge precision health and genetic products, in both research and commercial settings.Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple research and commercial precision health projects and deliver successful outcomes within scope, budget and time.Establish project management methodology; draft relevant study, research ethics and CRO protocols; and ensure that project standards are achieved.Work with the product and scientific teams to design and execute project work plans, clearly communicate project requirements and progress to relevant stakeholders.Facilitate and document teleconferences and face-to-face internal and external meetings as well as tracking, managing and resolving arising actions, issues and conflicts.Provide any additional support needed by the Precision Health product teams in response to business needs.Requirements:Project management experience, successfully supporting cross-functional teams in a scientific environment, preferably related to healthcare or genomics.Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects, working with internal and external stakeholders and clients, and translating complex projects into tasks and dependencies.Time management and organisational skills, and experience in delivering to strict deadlines with a high degree of independence.A clear and concise communication style (oral and written), with the ability to compile reports and present to a wide range of audiences.Experience of using remote collaboration tools and digital project management software (e.g. Zoom, Slack, Trello, Asana, Jira, or similar).Desirable:Experience of working within biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical or medical products and devices on the delivery of projects.A PhD (or similar level of expertise) in genetics, clinical science, molecular life sciences or a related subject.Project management qualification.
