Job Title: DevOps LeadLocation: Stockholm, SwedenTech stack: DevOps, Azure, Microsoft Development (.Net) Are you a forward thinker? Enjoy having impact on the environments you work in? Well, I am working with a fantastic company based in the bustling heart of Stockholm city. The client I am working with is a Fintech company focusing in providing platforms and software to help with lending within the fincial space. Your work has a direct impact on how easy people find it to manage their money and how large companies manage their incomes and outgoings.But what is the role?This role has a huge amount of flexibility. You will work alongside a team of 10-15 developers all working within the .Net, C#, .Netcore space. Your position is to completely transform the DevOps practices within the company and increase the capabilities of DevOps across the entire company.It will be your responsibility to implement new solutions, methodologies and technologies to enhance automation, pipeline and infrastructure throughout. You can use whatever technologies you see fit, work on any methodology you see as beneficial and will have a complete free roam on the way you work. Eventually, once you have set up the DevOps environment, you will grow a team around you of like minded, passionate engineers to work alongside a talented development team.There must be some guidelines?In terms of what we are looking for, it is as mentioned incredibly flexible. The main area of focus will be Microsoft Azure and having experience to the DevOps/Azure environment will be a massive benefit as you will be working on platforms within this area. Also, working amongst a large team of developers with .Net, C# and .Net core it will also be beneficial to have exposure to the development space or lifecycle.In essence this role is all about mind set and using your initiative.
