BlackburnAn Systems Analyst is required for our client based in Blackburn.The successful candidate will-

Provide development and support to staff across all company sites.

Have responsibility for systems upgrades and systems reporting.

Understand, challenge and document processes and requirements.

Develop and enhance ERP support.

Assist with hardware and software installation, maintenance and configuration.

Carry out tasks delegated by Technical Support.

Create processes to streamline repetitive data entry.

Provide support to prepare and maintain training material.

Produce technical and non-technical documentation.

Report directly to the Head of IT.Skills / Attributes

Proficiency in SQL DBA design, performance tuning & development essential.

Good written and oral communication skills with a professional telephone manner.

Strong customer service skills.

Calm under pressure and ability to work within fast paced environments.

Experience of ERP systems essential

Working closely with teams on Integration, Data and MI/BI workstreams.

Understanding of manufacturing/warehouse business processes and best practice.

Basic networking knowledge.

'Hands on' approach and a willingness to learn.

Flexible, pro-active approach.

Minimum of 3 years Technical support and relevant experience.

IT certification(s) desirable (i.e. CompTIA, MCP etc).

Overseas travel may be required occasionally.

Experience of Magento/Wordpress) desirable.
