Senior Data Engineer (Data Analytics Hadoop AWS Scala Java .Net). *Remote Process*. Award-winning software house is seeking a proactive, passionate technologist to take ownership of the design and development of their state-of-the-art data analytics platform.

As a Senior Data Engineer you'll play a critical role in building the company's core data analytics platform. You'll have the chance to advance and refine your skills on a diverse, up-to-the-minute tech stack, where your contributions will be valued at every stage. The organisation adopts an iterative approach to solving technical problems, so this Senior Data Engineer role would suit a tech-driven individual who is keen to build innovative customer facing products.

Requirements:

Experience with at least one of the following: Hadoop, Apache, Spark, Presto

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google BigQuery

Strong working knowledge of an OO programming language like Scala, Java, Python or .Net

Experience turning queries and profiling performance issues in database systems

You're a positive team player who excels when working as part of an Agile, highly collaborative team

Desirable: experience with building financial data analytics products / DevSecOps experience
