The role requires SC Clearance.Live supportInvestigate problems with the system to establish root causes.Design and deliver Data Extracts based on user needsCorrect live dataDevelopmentAnalyse and design Oracle database solutionsFix defects and problems in Oracle DB J2EE landscape.Represent development team interests and consult when necessary.Keep abreast of emerging tech and roadmapKey Skills / ExperienceSC Clearance & NPPV3 ClearanceJava / J2EE / Oracle Database/ SQL Rational s/w clear case, quest, ToadUnix commandsWebLogic 10&12, Eclipse IDE, Struts 1 Java EE frameworkService management tools, such as ServiceNow and RemedyAbility to consult with team members, users and other stakeholdersCoaching and knowledge transferKnowledge of Criminal Justice Systems and a working knowledge of conviction data since ViSOR is used to manage offenders according to current legislationUnderstanding of the Police National Computer (PNC) and relevant dataset as ViSOR interfaces with PNC as a primary source of offender dataKnowledge of supporting software such OS Places, Rest webservice and datasetGeneral MS Office Toolset
