SC Chief Engineer / Technical Design Authority
The Chief Engineer is the key technical leader on project & engineering delivery. You will set & drive the standard for technical design & architecture on a large scale. Working with architects & Lead Engineers you will ensure quality of the products delivered to the customer and that design is fit for live operations and support.
In charge of multiple lead engineers who lead SMEs on the low level design of complex delivery of cloud solutions for a public sector customer, ensuring quality solutions and fit for purpose. Governance of program delivering quality architecture e.g. the Chief Engineer will review how the team are delivering it, in right order e.g. when doing testing and validation; and across the whole piece? This Chief Engineer has oversight of a whole program or project, and will govern the quality of technical design.
