BI/reporting/ Data modelling/ D365 F&O Specialist 100% remote role for our US Client

Our client is a world leader in providing specialist solutions to oi l& gas sector. Headquartered in US they operate across all continents and own 95% of their global respective market.

Job Summary:

They are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Reporting/ Data modelling Technical Specialist located in Europe. The candidate's role is to be an expert at working with all aspects of data. This includes creating dashboards, visualizations, algorithms, and business tools for use across the organization.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to define data and Business Intelligence requirements
  • Use Power BI to transform, load and visualize data from numerous sources
  • Set up and manage recurring report schedules
  • Contribute to and implement results via concise reporting, visualization and dashboard solutions
  • Design executive dashboards comprised of auto-refreshing reports targeted to the proper audience
  • Author design documentation, assess technical feasibility for proposed solutions

Skills & Requirements:

  • A degree in a quantitative field or computer science
  • Several years of hands-on Business Intelligence experience and tools like Power BI and Tableau
  • Hands-on Dynamics AX Development experience, Dynamics 365 FO is preferred
  • Experience with data modelling and extraction
  • Power BI implementations experience
  • Dynamics 365 AX module experience: Finance, Manufacturing, Production, Inventory, Procurement (not all needed but preferred)
  • professional experience working with SQL in complex data warehousing instance
  • Proficient is translating user requirements into creative and interactive visual dashboards, catering to the Executive Management
  • Experience with SSRS, SSIS, SSAS and related Microsoft tools such as Power Pivot and SharePoint services
  • Experience in writing simple T-SQL queries to get the necessary data
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts
  • Possesses exceptional oral and written communications skills in English
  • Can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and business staff across geographic areas
