Senior Cyber Security AnalystOur client is urgently looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join their truly close-knit team based in Plymouth, on a permanent basis. The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for the development, delivery and support of new cyber security systems and processes within the business.The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will act as an SME and be a point of escalation for the Cyber Security team and fellow Cyber Security Analysts. Ideally, the Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be working towards obtaining certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, OSCP or another recognised Cyber Security qualification, if not already.The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be rewarded with a competitive salary, leading training, generous annual leave allowance, pension scheme and a range of discount vouchers from childcare to high street stores.Senior Cyber Security Analyst - Role Scope:

'€¢Responsibility for the development and management of SIEM reports and dashboards'€¢Point of escalation for daily security findings'€¢Evaluating security processes and systems against security industry benchmarks, for example CIS'€¢Provide subject matter expertise in relation to historic and developing security trends and apply knowledge of industry specific threats'€¢Responding to cyber security incidents'€¢Delivering cyber security awareness programs with the business'€¢Monitoring and assessing latest threat intelligence'€¢Carrying out forensics on systems and hardware'€¢Investigating new tools and techniques to strengthen cyber security'€¢It would be advantageous to have or be working towards, a recognised cyber security qualification such as OSCP, CISSP, CCNA Security etc.
