An Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer is required by an established multi-national company based in Cork in Ireland, the hub of Ireland’s microelectronic industry. This is an opportunity to work within a growing and dynamic area and in this position the Analog/Mixed Signal IC Designer will work on the development of the next generation products for Automotive LiDAR for autonomous driving vehicles. The position will involve the architectural development of pixel arrays for Analog sensors and you will be involved in the development of readout circuits and architectures based on 130nm CMOS technology. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years experience designing Analog/Mixed Signal ICs and architectural development, ideally related to arrays of SPADs & TDCs. You will have extensive experience in the definition, design, verification, and characterization of various Analog circuits including; wideband amplifiers, bandgap references, ADCs, DACs and/or high voltage circuits. You will have a deep understanding of Analog IP development, chip integration, floor planning, timing analysis, physical design, and mixed signal verification. Other skills required include:
 Strong Verilog RTL coding skills Knowledge of Analog Behavioural Modelling Ability to run and debug Top Level Mixed Signal Simulations Ability to lead a project from chip specification to tapeout A track record of being involved in tape outs Expertise in the use of design, simulation and verification tools (i.e. Cadence and Mentor)Excellent communications skills in English are required as well as strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well in a team.
