C++ Developer / Games Programmer (Animation C++ Unreal 4 Unity 3D Maths). *Remote Process* Are you a skilled C++ Developer looking for your next challenge? World-renowned games development company is seeking a tech-driven C++ Developer to join their accomplished team who have harnessed the power of Unreal Engine 4 to build a suite of systems that underpin their collection of award-winning games.

As a C++ Developer, you'll take ownership of developing systems that will take the character interaction and locomotion forward to the next generation. You'll work with Unreal Engine 4's animation and sequencer systems to meet the requirements of the game, where you'll be granted the freedom to extend the functionality and suggest new approaches where you see fit.

In this C++ Developer role, you'll be responsible for achieving realistic human animation through combining animations, IK and other bespoke skeletal control systems and will have the opportunity to make your mark and get involved with all stages of asset production, from specification to platform-specific challenges.

Requirements:

You are a strong C++ and have contributed to shipped games on PC / Console / Mobile

You're passionate about animation and have a good knowledge of multiple game systems (e.g. player control, runtime)

You're committed to producing high quality code and high-fidelity characters

You have strong 3D Maths skills, and broad knowledge of its theory and application

You're a confident, self-assured communicator who is happy to work with teams business-wide

You're passionate about video games!

Desirable: detailed knowledge of SDK and technical requirements of PS4, XB One, PC / knowledge of animation systems e.g. using blend trees, state machines, procedural systems

In this C++ Developer role you'll earn a highly competitive salary (to £65k) plus a comprehensive benefits package. You'll be based at offices in Guildford a very short walk from a mainline train station.
