AWS Architect - LeedsSalary: Up to £65k DOEThis major UK Client are looking for talented AWS Architect to join their team. Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake AWS Well Architected reviewsLead both high-level and low-level designs, fully document the solution Develop technical roadmaps for future AWS cloud implementations and the journeyDevelop business case analysis on potential projectsEnsure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutionsPerform advanced systems modelling, simulation, and analysisActs as a subject-matter expert to multiple tasks and/or programsDevelop business case analysis on potential projectsEnsure security is integrated into everything they doAudit and recommend upgrades to solutions based on current and future requirementsKnowledge and ExperienceThe successful candidate will have knowledge and experience across the following:EssentialStrong understanding of core Amazon infrastructureA good understanding of the AWS Well Architected FrameworkKnowledge of End User Compute (EUC) technologies, e.g. Amazon WorkSpaces, Citrix, RDSKnowledge of microservice based architecturesExperience working in a DevOps environmentWindows Server (2012 R2 and later)Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP design and implementationAbility to present confidently in external group and client settingsAWS Solution Architect Associate certification or higherDesirableFamiliarity with Linux server & Identity Management technologiesWorking with AWS in a serverless context Using development tools such as JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, Maven and SonarQubeFamiliarity with software tools which automate or assist part of the development build processProven implementation experience using Java and Node.jsContainerisation experience such as Docker, Kubernetes and ECSExperience in Chef or Ansible.To apply email [email protected] or call 0191 814 7785 as well as to enquire about more information surrounding the role. **EVERYTHING DISCUSSED WILL REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL**
