Whatever you want to call it, this will be your role. You'll be taking ownership for all things Windows security for a global quant trading firm.
You'll be joining the broader Windows and Cyber Security teams, working to secure the business and sharing your knowledge of modern security controls. This is a hands-on role, so you'll need be someone who can roll up their sleeves and get involved.
Your days will vary from threat and vulnerability management to testing and implementing new security controls. You'll be working with IT control framework and prioritising tasks as needed, providing guidance and enjoying a real sense of autonomy.
You'll need experience working with Windows, unsurprisingly, along with a strong working knowledge of active directory, disk encryption and endpoint security. This job also requires you to be familiar with mitigation methods, querying methods and OS hardening, as well as developing strategies and standards surrounding security.
