Agile Software Development Lead London to £90k *Remote Interview WFH*

Agile Software Development Lead / Manager (TDD Java 8). Would you like to take a lead role at a technology driven company with an open, collaborative environment where learning and personal development are key and there's a strong pipeline of Greenfield projects as well as flexible working and wellness programmes?  

As an Agile Software Development Lead you will head up two teams of six in Agile Squads, following the Spotify model and take a lead role in promoting software engineering best practice via Pair Programming, talks and presentations within your team. You will provide general day-today support to your team including performance assessments, progression planning and be involved in recruiting new team members. Partnering with the CTO and key stakeholders you will define and maintain a smooth software delivery process, managing delivery dependencies across the team and taking ownership of budget and timelines. You'll quickly raise and remove any impediments, clearly escalating and communicating across teams and championing the technology strategy and roadmap across the business.

You will based in a vibrant area of Central London at a market leading software house that provide a suite of cloud based smart voice services to a variety of clients ranging from investment banks to the emergency services.  

Driven by technology they can offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

Strong line management experience of software engineering teams, advanced leadership and communication skills

Significant experience with Agile practices, principles and processes

Results driven and customer focussed

Ideally you will have a software engineering background with Java
