Digital Biomarker Data Processing Solutions Architect (IT) (m/f/x)Are you an experienced Solutions Architect (m/f) looking for a new project? Our client, a large pharmaceuticals company with locations and laboratories in more than 80 countries offers an interesting and exciting opportunity for freelance Digital Biomarker Data Processing Solutions Architect (m/f).Your role as Digital Biomarker Data Processing Solutions Architect (IT) (m/f/x)Designing and maintaining components in the scalable, modular Remote Patient Monitoring Platform (RPMP) architecture comprising data lakes, data processing pipelines, analytics platforms, databases, device lifecycle management solutions etc.Leading the integration of the RPMP into study specific technical ecosystems enabling end-to-end data capture and processingLeading software development teams and overseeing the development, maintenance and life-cycle management of RPMP applicationsCollaborating closely with Mobile Solutions Architects, Cloud/Backend Architects, Data Analysts, Clinical Study Managers and Lifecycle Managers to ensure that the RPMP provides end-to-end support of digital biomarker studiesWorking with Software Product Owners to define and maintain study specific technical software development roadmaps and plans. Required skills5+ years hands-on solutions architecture experience3+ years leading software development teamsSolid track record as a solution architect for fully scalable infrastructures processing very large (time series) data volumes in real timeSignificant experience with various data integration/ETL tools, application integration, business process and data science tools (e.g. Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Flume, Kafka)Experience with large scale cloud-based solutions (Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS)Experience working in large, geographically distributed high-performance teams in matrix organizationsExpertise in agile software development methodology (SCRUM preferred)Strong track record in successful information modeling and database design (e.g. SQL, no-SQL, Data Warehouses and Big Data)Experience with RESTful web servicesExperience in high performance computingBusiness fluency in written and spoken English.
