JavaScript Developer London to £90k

JavaScript Developer / Front End Technical Lead (JavaScript React) *Remote Interview WFH*. Are you a skilled JavaScript Developer looking for an opportunity to progress your career and make an impact?

You could be joining a technology driven Derivatives Trading company as they expand their UK presence and taking ownership of the Front End of complex web based trading systems. As a senior JavaScript Developer you will be responsible for re-engineering the existing Front End architecture from Backbone.js to React; you'll design the front end architecture, prototype and iterate new user interfaces and assist with UX design and user flow specification. You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and create specifications, working across the full development lifecycle, building out enterprise level UI systems and ensuring maintainability of front end software.

Initially you will be the sole JavaScript Developer but with scope to build a team around you as the role progresses and the company grows.

You'll be based in modern open plan City based offices. Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

Degree educated, 2.1 or above gained in Computer Science or similar technical / scientific / numerate discipline

Wealth of experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS

Strong React skills and ideally familiar with Backbone.js

Good understanding of REST APIs and web integration with backend systems

Collaborative with good communication skills, keen to learn and share ideas
