Role - Helpdesk support

Start - June

Duration - 3 months+

Location - Mechelen

You are very familiar with networks, server systems and security technologies. You thereby help our customers to resolve incidents that jeopardize their security. You like to work according to the book, thrive in a team environment and have an insatiable hunger for knowledge.

As a member of our security service desk you will assist our clients in solving incidents impacting their security infrastructure and their business.

In detail, your tasks encompass several of the following areas:

*respond to requests for technical assistance via phone or electronically

*diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues

*advise user on appropriate action

*follow standard help desk procedures

*log all service desk interactions

*develop own knowledge in different security areas

*be part of the customer trusted security partner team

As security engineer you will progressively gain deep knowledge and experience in various IT domains through on the job training and coaching by our consultants

Profile

You have a Master or Bachelor Degree with a specialization in computer science, electronics, telecom or mathematics. You have strong interest in the security matter and have a good knowledge in the following areas:

*TCP/IP networking

*UNIX and Windows Servers systems

*Security technology such as firewalls, proxies, authentication servers, IDS...

*Check Point knowledge is certainly a plus

Flexibility and a very good knowledge of English/Dutch/French round your profile off.
